Why remanufactured pumps?
Equipping a laboratory or modest size manufacturing facility with dozens of vacuum pumps is a major
capital outlay, often costing upward of $1M. Factory leadtimes can run into months. Purchasing
remanufactured and fully warranted vacuum pumps is a very viable option for organizations who opt for
better stewardship of their financial resources.
Remanufacturing Process -
Pumps International has the buying power to acquire large numbers of high quality pumps from sources
throughout the country. Purchased pumps go through a stringent inspection program, where only the very
best pumps are designated for remanufacture.
Every pump is completely disassembled, decontaminated, and fully inspected. Skilled technicians using
oem parts and working to factory specifications can then produce pumps that are as good, if not better
than new. Upon completion, each pump is functionally tested for up to three days to ensure meeting
original operating specifications. Every remanufactured pump carries a full equivalent-to-factory warranty.
